ANYBODY GOT A TIME MACHINE I CAN BORROW?.....
Above are screengrabs of the TALKING HEADS, performing ROAD TO NOWHERE ( YOUTUBE video ).
I'm still trying to find my R.O.P. classmates.
One thing is certain, I've become very good at failing.
This class still has meaning to me, and that's a little bit ironic. Why? Because, I hated my school years, and most of the things that happened during that time frame.
There was nothing normal about our class, school, or campus. Those were some of the reasons it was special to me. I also liked my classmates - even the person I used to argue with.
If any of my classmates are reading this, below are some questions for you.
Was I a bad person? Did I ever threaten any of you with a baseball bat?, or a vampire bat?, or a crossbow?, or a fly swatter?, or my private area?
Did I forget to wear deodorant?... Ok, maybe once or twice.
Did I ever show up to class without pants?
Was I a chronic farter?
Did I ever squeeze my zits in your direction?
If I sound frustrated, it's because I am... ha-ha-ha. After years of searching, I've found very little information about our class and what happened to our old school buildings ( burned to the ground? ).
Screengrabs above are from the film REVENGE OF THE NERDS.
BUTT seriously, during my quest for information, I've written countless letters and emails. I've sent my questions to public libraries, school districts, county, and state offices.
Replies were few. Some of those replies, were from individuals with the READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS OF A CARROT! I can NOT believe how many fucking morons have good paying jobs with great benefits!
Above are various movie posters of high school themed movies.
I've said this before, public libraries should have local yearbooks online! In the eyes of the law, they are a matter of PUBLIC RECORD. They should be made available FREE OF CHARGE!
Above, is an image of the INTERNET ARCHIVE yearbook page.
The YEARBOOK section of the INTERNET ARCHIVE is FREE for everyone to use. Unfortunately for me, none of the schools I'm searching for are in their archive.... yet. I'm really hoping that will change sooner, rather than later.
I'm searching for DIGITAL VERSIONS of yearbooks, for the following schools.....
BUENA HIGH SCHOOL 1980/1981

Why so many schools? Because I don't remember which schools some of my classmates attended. So, the more schools I cover, the better my chances of finding their pictures, and the correct spelling of their names.
In all seriousness, I know it's unrealistic to desire closure on everything in life. However, that's NOT going to stop me from trying.
The few times I've had closure, it has ended on a bad note.
Above are screengrabs from a YOUTUBE reunion video.
Anyway, if anyone reading this has any USEFUL suggestions, let me know in the comments section. Or, if you have something negative to contribute, then shove it up your suggestion box!
Well, that's it for now. I'll be back... maybe.
