A while ago, I drew a super crappy map of the ROP Camarillo campus - circa 1980 / 1981.
I recently made a less crappy campus map. I used the digital equivalent of 'cut and paste'.
I searched GOOGLE EARTH for images of Camarillo airport. I zoomed in on the ROP campus, and made screengrabs of it, and then I modified it.
I don't remember how many different classes existed in 1981. I only remember my class, the auto shop class, the floral design class, and the principal's office.

As I posted before, I think I may have found one of my former classmates. However, I'm still not sure how to contact her. I do NOT want to join INSTAGRAM, and that makes things more complicated.

A few years ago, I found an online article from 2006. My ROP instructor may be mentioned in it - or someone else with the same name. Anyway, it's about the discovery of an airplane wreck. The plane had disappeared in 1944.

I think I may have found a second classmate, but I'm not sure, and that's all I want to say.

For years, I've been searching for aerial photos of Camarillo airport from the 1980s. I know that photos exist, I just don't know how to obtain them.
Laurie Cloward, I hope you find this blog and contact me.
